Synscan Firmware 3.34 released

It looks like SkyWatcher have released a new version of the SynScan firmware, and instead of fixing the Polar Alignment issues, have removed it.

The notes say:
Quote:
Notes: This is the firmware update from previous firmware of SynScan version 3.32. Minor changes including fix the GPS connnecting problem and minor issue. The polar (re-)alignment function is temporarily disabled for the feature still under improvement. Regarding the modifications in detail, please see the included release note. This new firmware also works with AZ goto and DOB SynScan goto mount.
And the full release notes are:

What a cop out. I don't want it for anything except the polar alignment and they take it out!! They had it working at one point so they must be able to see what they changed between versions that stopped it working?

I back-dated to 3.27, and couldn't be happier.

Cop out indeed - if they got it pretty spot on in 3.27, why can they NOT fix it now? Chinese conundrum me thinks.

I don't think the polar alignment feature was available in 3.27. It's a different feature than the 1/2/3 star alignment, and normal polar alignment with the polar scope, both of which work in 3.32 of course.
