Comet LEMMON, single 30 sec exp

At the risk of being boring, another Lemmon shot. The tail is now quite obvious through the eye piece, and it's just about in the same frame as 47 Tuc.

Taken at just after 11 pm tonight, single 30 sec frame, ISO 800, uncropped, with a D7000 and 5" refractor.

Good one Chris!

Nothing boring about Lemmon!
Comet's like this a real treat, and deserve our attention.

Cheers,

Justin.

Great shot Chris. I just looked at Comet Lemmon with 20x80 binoculars.
It was nearly as bright as 47 Tuc and the tail seemed to extend to the bright star in Chris' image.

Nice one Chris, for a single 30 sec capture you have done very well indeed.
