Thumbs up Amazing Generosity!

Due to the fantastic generosity of Bert (avandonk) giving me his old EQ mount, and a Modded Toucam to help me and my boys on our way to imaging, and giving my boys his old 8" reflector, etc. and his constant hospitality and friendship I was overwhelmed. Bert had set me and my boys up for greater Astronomical adventures than we had dreamed of.

Then on Monday a parcel arrived in the mail for me. A rather large box from Andrews Comunications in Sydney.

Houghy had sent me a pair of 20x80 Triplet GIANT Binoculars!!!!!

Houghy, Thank you very much!!!! They will certainly go to good use.

The generosity of Bert and Houghy has also meant a lot to my boys than just getting Astronomy gear. They have also learnt that we shouldn't be in a world of 'Gimmee Gimmee, Mine, Mine' but a world where we can share.

Thank you Bert and Houghy not only for the equipment to help us along our Astronomical paths but for your selfless hearts. Your display of
giving 'without strings' will stay with my boys forever!

And that in itself is worth more than a house full of Astro gear.

As I read this tears are welling up in my eyes. The warmth and generosity of Bert and Houghy are touching, and serve as an inspiration to me in this sometimes selfish and self obsessed world of today.

Thanks guys, for re-igniting the beacon of hope, and thanks Ken, for letting us know there are such fine people in our midst.

Cheers

Dennis

Good onya Bert and H0ughy.
It's always great to hear that there still are thoughtful, kind and generous souls out there.
So warming to know people still put others before themselves.

It is great to see that the act of selfless giving is still alive and well in the twisted world we live in.

Great to see.
