NGC 3372 Test

Testing out a new camera.. first shared image post in a long time so thought, why not, lets throw an image up for old times sake.
Conditions were >15km gusts, >20c temps, guiding was chasing the seeing and focus I think was shifting. Testing ADU limits and exp times.

Yes wind is a real image softener, still, this is an excellent start, you must be very pleased.

Dan,

It's been almost a year since I touched it last.

I've become inspired again and hope to use the gear this coming weekend. If only just to image Lemmon with the DSLR and not the SBIG.

I just hope the weather plays ball.

Bring on winter so I can finish my Rho Ophiuchus project (now into its 3rd year...)

Teamwork from the West.
Here's Dan's Ha under the RGB from my D800 image, combined using the Pixinsight LRGB combination tool.
I'll have to get into this narrowband business now. I'd post the hi res on astrobin, but it's half Dan's now, so I'll see what he wants to do with it first.
cheers,
Andrew

Wonderful work. FSQ/STL is a classic combo that works so well.
