Lemmon with the ED80.

Hi,

Used the ED80 last night for comet Lemmon, pushing the limits on this!
Still, got quite a lot of tail.
Needed to use ISO 3200 so the image is quite noisy not being able to go longer than 2 minutes 15 sec subs. Total 40 minutes 30 seconds.

Used DSS again to stack for stars and comets, worked quite well but left a few artifacts to clean up.

ED80, field flattener, baader fringe killer.
Unmodded Canon 1100D plus cooler box.
HEQ Pro 5 mount.

Cheers,

Justin.

Fills the frame nicely Justin, I will have to re-consider which scope to use later this week, 800mm F/L is almost certainly to much now !
Nice capturing ! !
