The lost 8.8!

About 3 months ago I bought a Meade 8.8mm s4000 UWA from AstroMart, and it never showed up.

The seller was kind enough to refund half the cost to my paypal account, which was a very generous thing to do. So I ended up buying a Pentax 7mm XW and that's where the story ended.

Or so I thought!

I got an email from him this morning, the 8.8mm turned up back at his house! He said it had "insufficient address" on it or something ridiculous, but the good news is, it's back safe and sound after a trip around the postal service for 3 months!

So he's going to refund the full amount and relist it on Astromart, since I don't need the 8.8 anymore. The extra refund will help in the fundraising for the DMK

Good to hear it all worked out Mike...but honestly if I was the postman I wouldn't have delivered the parcel addressed to ICEMAN...stuff that send it back undeliverable....hehehe

You sure you want the DMK....I felt a bit of EQ mount in your statement.

As long as I can work out the problems with the platform, then the DMK is the best option for me now.

The DMK fund is pretty much complete. Just waiting to hear back from Matt at Telescopes-Astronomy. Hope he gets back to me soon!

I'll start with the camera and add filters/wheel sooner or later depending on the price.
