How hot can electronics get before it's dangerous?

My observatory can reach temps upstairs in the middle of a summer day, of over 50 degrees C.

Will this kind of temperature damage my desktop PC, monitor, starshoot astro-cameras or even my EQ6 mount and electronic keypad?

Non operational i.e. powered off temperature range will be much higher than you're probably going to get in your observatory.
The items most likely to be heat affected (apart from your optics) are hard disks and LCD monitors. The non operating temperatures of these are typically 70 ° - 80 ° C

Well some cpu's will throttle down at 70cel pending what tmax is, i don't think you will have any issues apart from cooling down scopes ect. You should put some vents in to aid airflow and temps.

Hi Baz

My rather old astro PC kept shutting down after about 15mins of use.
It appeared to be an overheating problem and after removing the cpu
fan/heat sink I found that the heat sink had a carpet of dust fibres on it.
I removed this and the PC now works fine. So apparently a PC (like me)will shut down if it gets too hot!
