Comet C/2012 F6 (Lemmon) from Adelaide

My son and I caught this last night just after
midnight. He doesn't recover well from these night
sessions well, lazy bugger only just woke up

It was where we thought it should be after a bit of sleuth
work beforehand in Cartes and using the Weekly bright comet page.

Only visible after processing (not seen in live preview during capture
due to Adelaide's L.P.)

Thanks for these - comets are pretty cool - not much hope seeing these dull ones from here - we need another Lovejoy or McNaught!!!!!!!!

Thanks all,

another few nights, another few sets.
Edit: Sorry Paul, exposures are 5-10 sec sets depending on
seeing/ tracking / gully breezes (see the gaps in the trails) for narrow.
60 sec shots with the QHY-8.

Andrew: my trusty DSI II cooled camera / 12" Newt for narrow field.
QHY-8 / SLR 80-200mm lens piggybacked on 12" OTA for wide field.
