Jupiter 9.25 Vs 14 round 1

Hi everyone,

Seeing was only 2/10 but had to try the duo out, Asi was too sleepy so had the two to my self. The shot on the left is with Asi's 9.25 with 2x barlow and extention tube. The other is with the 14" with 2x barlow only.

Hope to get some better shots soon.

Lesters 14" is a Meade Dave.

Next time I'm out there Lester I'll be doing the "lets collimate at 2000 mag" bit.

I'll show ya who rules the sky around these parts, sunshine...& it's not Meade!

Thanks for your replies Ving, David, and Celestron Lover Asimov,

The results will be very interesting, I know which I would put my money on, but then again it wasn't so long ago and I should have won a chess game. So I better keep a lid on my cockyness.

Asi your 900nc hasn't turned up yet, so I rang the supplier and left a message.

watching this space... go the C9.25

then again if money were no object it would be a Mewlon 250... no question!

A pretty unfair comparison if you ask me, The 14" has miles more light gathering capabilities! But perhaps this doesn't come into it when imaging planets, rather than DSO's ?
