Here is Saturn at 4:47am today AEST, 18:47UT 12th January.
12 inch Dobsonian, 5x Powermate, Canon EOS 600D in 1080p video crop mode.

Tom I reckon you should put together a paper on DSLR planetary imaging. You certainly set a benchmark with all these great pics.

Derek I am thinking about putting together a primer for DSLRs and Dobsonians - two if the pieces of equipment that aren't generally associated with planetary imaging.
