Astronomy wall artwork

Hi all

I'm a bit bored of my bedroom and lounge room so I thought I might look into getting some space artwork. I've looked around and haven't found anything really captivating yet since I'd want it to be something pretty awesome as I'll be looking at it everyday.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Perhaps websites where you can purchase some? I'm not too fussed on size or price.

(Apologies if this should have gone into Astronomy Media forum or if there are many posts like this.)

If you have a nice big blank wall, you could try something like this:

I've been tempted to do it myself and may do so at some stage.

Those wall murals would be a spectacular sight.

I just have to figure out where to put it, wall space is a bit scarce.

Back in the early 70's my schoolmate's older brother was an artist and he hand-painted/airbrushed the whole lounge room walls of his parents house in realistic looking space.

It was fantastic and looked real!

But I reckon an artist would be expensive.

Hi George, I would recommend sites such as FineArtAmerica.com. I do some space art myself which can be purchased online from the site, for example this one: http://fineartamerica.com/featured/n...olf-olsen.html
There are many other space artists too, if you search there for 'space art'. I'm sure you'll be able to find something that suits your taste

You can get massive prints done in Oz for pretty cheap these days, just a matter of finding the artwork you want at high enough resolution.
