Hi. Set the alarm for 2.30am and after 4 hours sleep and headed off to bag my 3rd Comet in 3 nights. A comet hat-trick

at one of my fav local sites. It offered a great view from the SE to SW which i needed as L4 was only 10deg above the horizon. I had doubts but remained hopeful that i would get it. Leveled the mount, polar aligned including laying on the ground drifting at Zennith(which i am getting quicker at

), really need to get an illuminated reticle.
Not the best image quality, very windy conditions, rough alignment (excuses excuses

) but it's all much needed practice.
400D, ISO 1600, 1x 60 sec image ( i took more to stack but DSS is not accepting frames and says i need to adjust star detection threshold, which i do to no avail. Only started happening since i started using my borrowed 400D)
SWED 80 PRO (gold model)
EQ3 R.A. tracking unguided
It was a good boost to the confidence at setting up at mobile locations, something at which i would like to try more of this year.
