My dob is all back together and looking great.

I even took it out for a test drive tonight, stable air and Jup. looked great, cloud rolled in though. Other than a needing a darn good collimation I am very happy with it.

Well done!! Red tubed scopes look great I reckon! Did this to my 8" newt 15 years ago, only using a deeper red than you have, geez it looked nice!

Good stuff, love it!

The downside is that now you will have to spend even more to get good eyepieces, because that scope's gotta be the fastest dob around!
