!2" GSO dob eyepiece height?

Could one of you kind folks tell me the distance from the eyepiece to the ground when the scope is at the zenith? I'm looking for greater aperture but I need to remain seated while observing. With my Denver chair the highest my eyes can be is 1500mm.

Thanks,
Tony

Thanks Doug. With that potential roadblock out of the way, common sense and finances keep steering me back towards a dob.

I've just been able to use mine after one week+ of bad weather.
Even with the cheapo plossls, the contrast and detail on Jupiter have kept me enthralled!!
Recommended.
See this thread to eyeball my Dob (2nd hand too!!)

I'm still struggling with getting seated at the EP. I got one of those adjustable "Stellar" seats from Bintel, but it is not very comfortable. You cannot reach the EP without twisting and leaning and I always end up feeling like I'm falling off the thing. It's a work in progress.

Viewing comfort is one of the reasons I'm partial to SCT's. It's a shame c11's are so expensive new; not many used ones come up for sale either. Maybe the LX200r will be so good everyone will upgrade and dump their c11's?
