Early Geminid

I believe this is an early Geminid meteor. Captured on my homebrew all-sky cam this morning at around 3am.

Looking forward to the peak, although the weather forecast is not looking good!

Nice capture. do you have details on the all sky camera? I'd like to make one up one day.

I put the camera together by adding a fish-eye lens to an Imaging Source DMK21AU04 camera.

I got the lens from AstroShop, it is intended for a G-Star EX camera. It is C-mount, so it attached OK. However, it didn't reach focus, so I partially disassembled it and adapted it using PVC tape!

Running at maximum gain, 2 second exposure gives a nice time-lapse video.
