350d mirror lock question

I've looked at the book that came with the camera and it seems to give too much info on this topic in too little words . So am confused. When using a bulb exposure , with mirror lock set in menu preferences , does pressing the bulb lock up the mirror and open the shutter ?? or are two presses of the bulb required to initiate both in sequence??

Hi Philip, once you go into custom functions, and set the mirror lockup to enable, it is 2 presses of the button.

The first press locks up the mirror, the second exposes the image onto the cmos sensor.
