The next generation of Astronomer? Cute pics

Thought this probably belonged in here if anywhere. I have had some trouble getting my son (two and a half) to understand the scope and where to look (Even the little coffee table newt we got him to hopefully allow me to get some use of my own if he catches fire on the idea. Even if I held him up to the EP he just struggled and wanted to get away.

Then I thought to go and get his little steps, it was about fifteen minutes before I got to look again, taken tonight and the subject is the obvious one, the moon. It was funny with him looking at the moon with the naked eye and then through the scope and throwing his hands as far apart as he could, saying "BIG..BIG"

That is odd, they do on my PC. Just re-checked.

Edit, trying again with the thumbnails to see if these work, pics are hosted on photobucket.

Second edit: Deleted them again as they pop up with IMG tags when I post the edit, which this forum does not allow so they just come up as links to the thumbnails anyway! I only uploaded them right before posting this so maybe they were not properly up yet on the photobucket system.

Ahhhh there we go.
Must have been a glitch on my end.
He's doing well to be able to close the correct eye, you know that don't you.
Cute as a button!
You'll be able to buy him all sorts of astro goodies for xmas.

It was really funny to see the double take at the EP when he realised what he was looking at. It was a look of "OK dad, I have looked now, are you happy.....................WHAT THE?"

I would not have even thought about that unless you posted it, but yes! Had some problems this morning when he came into the bedroom at 6am pointing at the scope saying "Moon..........Moooooon" and was most unhappy when we did not spring out of bed to set up the scope.
