Eclipse QTVR

Playing with the little data I had....

The link is here

Works fine on a Mac. QTVR is not supported on i-pad. Windows users will need a Quick Time plug in for their browsers.

Use the shift key to zoom in, Ctrl key to go out, mouse cursor to look around.

Very clever use of your footage. The only other time I have seen that technique used is in real estate adds. It is much better suited to what you have used it for.

That's great. Gives you a feel for what it must've been like to be there. Nicely processed too - very natural.

Greg.

Thanks guys

... with the simply excellent (cloud free) images I've seen on IIS, I feel like it's a case of commiserations ....

Oddly enough I didn't plan on getting a 360 degree view. Turned out better than I thought it would.

I should make a serious 360 VR attemp...(gawd..more expense! ...automated pano-head ).... at my next eclipse...whenever that will be !

@ Laurie.... not quite sure why your PC will not display the VR content. ..Perhaps your browser may not be set for active-X content?

Interesting stuff, Peter!

Reminds me off when Bob Yen got clouded out in 2008, there is also a frustrating VR of his experience:

Check out how much gear that dude has!
