Not sure if we have had this game yet....try it...

The aim of satellite game is to make satellites that has 'GOOD'
orbit between earth and moon. 'GOOD' means, the satellite must
live for long time, not to collide with earth or moon.


Just left click on mouse.....hold left click down and move mouse in direction and speed you want the satellites to travel..then let go.....try to get satellites to orbit as long as you can without being swollowed by the Earth or Moon.....

Haha.......I got it to orbit a few hundred times.....the sight I got it off said he could only get it to orbit 6 times......I'm a pro....lol

I was timimg it!

Ran 4 sattelites at the same time. 2 got gobbled by Earth and the moon flung one out into space. The last one orbited the moon at one stage.

Got to 10 minutes without crashing the last one. got bored with it and left.

Cool game though.

I got one to orbit 5 times orbit the moon twice and then crash on the earth and then i got one too done over a hundred

earth close range
earth and moon long range.

both going after 30mins. had to turn puter off to go to work...

Still going after 10mins...! I'll keep in running and see if I can get to an hour.

I have had 2 going in opposite directions.......for over an hour....its hard to get them orbiting the moon for long.....

ok I know I said i turned the puter off... and that was my intention. but I didnt. I want to see if my orbits are still there when i get home around 2pm. my outer orbit disappeared just before i left home might have hit the moon? i dont know cause i wasnt monitoring it. I set up another close obit in the opposite direction...
anyhow, expect an update around 2pm

Striker, now you've done it. I fired one off at a wierd angle (went off the screen) but came back after a few minutes, kinda like a comet. Now I'm not game to leave in case it comes back!!

I got ones doing figure 8s around the moon and earth. But very hard to keep them going after 2 minutes minutes. Not a pro I guess.

ok I rang home at about 12:30...

when she hopped on at 11:30 there was still at least one satelite still orbiting. thats from before 9am this morning!
man I am good. I'd say it went close to the 3 hour mark.
it/they were still going when she saw them at 11:30 so I dont know when they stopped but it was between 11:30 and when i called at 12:30.

its gotta be a record!

Don't get too excited Ving, I've had one going in an elliptical orbit, almost clipping the planet on occasions since 11:15. It's now 3Pm and it's still going!!!

Good game, I wanted to see how many satellites I could keep in orbit at once, about 20. The trick is to orbit the satellites in the opposite direction to the Moon starting at half distance with enough speed for the Earth to capture the satellite; this uses the Moon to keep the satellites in Earth orbit.
