an hour in the company of JUPITER - May 9th

Hi All, managed to put together a sequence of Jupiter from the other night May 9th spanning just under and hour. Started with the 2.5x powermate and ended on the 4x powermate.

If you look carefully you can see the seeing steadily improving early on to the point I change over to the 4x powermate and improving again toward the end of the sequence - the last two I'm very happy with (wish I'd kept going!).

Enjoy and comments always welcome.

cheers,

What a great sequence Rob. Both Dennis and I were out that night as well and the seeing was definately improving as the night went on. Good to see you were out and making the most of it.

Dont worry, it got cloudy for me, but I seem to recall Dennis saying that it got near perfect where he was.

Hi Robert

Wow - a cracking good set of images. The 10:03 one is a real stand out; huge image scale with crisp detail, great work mate, probably the best I’ve seen with a C9.25.

Rest easy, I was out until gone midnight and I reckon you captured the last of the good seeing for that night.

Cheers

Dennis
