Clear skies finally, Horse head, NGC 2174 ,NGC1365

A nice clear night friday and saturday morning.

Time for another go at the horse head, better than my first attempt.

NGC 2174 in orion, this was fainter than expected, nice colours in this.

Also had to do NGC 1365 with the supernova.

All images 8 minute subs ISO 800 total 64 minutes each.

Nice to get out again.

Cheers,

Justin.

They are outstanding for an unmodified DSLR.

Great results Justin. I particularly liked the Horsehead, and that will be a nice memento of the NGC1365 supernova.

Thanks Ivan!

I like imaging the horse head, it's so rich in colour, probably the most fun to process too.

Thanks for that comment!

I'm certainly getting my money's worth out of the 1100D, the skies were also exeptional which helps a lot!

Cheers,

Justin.
