Just completed processing my first wide field image since ages, I'll probably try to do some more, but I am not sure if to buy a better lens for my modified Canon 450D or using my CCD with a medium format lens.
This image was also a first trial on the field for my new software DitherMaster Blind for EOS Utility, which was a success. I was amazed by the amount of tiny objects I found in this image.
Just some C's from me! Really nice wide field, you get a good feel for the Cassiopeia Milky Way there. And nice to see some old friends that are invisible from these latitudes, not least the Owl.

Thank you! I also feel the same when I see pictures from down under, that's why I subscribed here and I like to share my up above ones.
Very nice shot Nicola which shows what a rich constellation Cassiopeia is. Maybe you could do a mouse over to make it easier to identify all the objects.
Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I am actually thinking to implement a mouse-over on my website for all my images, but it'll take some time. Not for the coding itself, rather to prepare all the maps. But I promise you I'll do that.
