better processing

learnt a bit more on processing in dss...... mainly getting a blacker sky, but this seems to reduce some detail too
i think there are 12 shots in each of the reprocessed m8 and ngc253
m8 at iso 400 and ngc 253 at iso 640 or 800 cant quite remember but i think they are much better than my original efforts

Looking good, what are the exposure times per frame ?
Any filters used ? (I'd have to use CLS in my suburban location )

brent these were the fist objects i experimented with my new lodestar so i went for the longest exp. with the lowest iso so i think most of them were 4mins as i wanted to see if anything "moved"
nothing did so that was the idea of my next post on "dark sky exp. times"
i use the idas lps2.... very good, this alone allows me to double the exposure
