Pony Club 14/21 July

Anyone for the PC this Saturday?
Weather looks good although might be a bit windy.
New moon on Tuesday so the 21st is an option.

Greg.

Hi Greg,

I am interested. This Sat will work better than next for me as my wife is away the following weekend (meaning I will have kids with me, necessitating a much earlier finish).

Rod, just pile them into the trailer, and use them as dunnage.

Saturday might be a goer for me too. I think I will be in China the following weekend.

Anyone looking for the two PC websites, here they are:

http://www.mangrovemountainponyclub.pcansw.org.au/
http://mangrovemountainponyclub.com/

Not the easiest to follow.
One is a year out of date.

I'm keen for this Saturday, weather pending. I haven't been for ages, but my wife is overseas so I need to get out of the house!

now then folks
from the horses mouth so to speak

pony club has an inter club day this sunday and will be setting up saturday

we will have to set up around the obstacles that will exist
and be mindful of the people staying overnite for the sunday events

if the gate is closed but not locked when you get there - close it again when you enter

nothing on next week i believe

hope to be there saturday myself

geoff

Just in case a plan B is required for whatever reason, does anyone have the coordinates (or google map) of the location of the sports fields that was used the last time?

John, it is on Bloodtree Road. Basically, it is immediately to the east of the gliding club. Maybe 100m down the road from the gliding club.

I am now out, as I will be about 8000km away. Too far to come back for the night..

Hi y'all,

The PC sounds less than optimal tonight with the Stardust Circus in town...

I will do some backyard observing tonight, and possibly come up next weekend with the kids. Hope you are able to do some decent observing, guys and gals....

Looks like another night at home. It doesn't look like it will clear at all today, strong winds, showers and plenty of grey matter.
Oh well, maybe next NM.

Ditto to Ricks comments.
Weather looks less than desireable.
