C/2011 L4 Panstarrs in Libra

SPX350 F9 with 2xPowermate, Mintron, Baader RGB.

This comet is set to make a bright show at -1 next year, it is around 11-12th mag and is brightening quickly. It is in Libra at the moment and will u-turn and come down throught the tail of Sco by November. I remember JJJ's youtube video of this comet moving a few months ago so looked it up and it was overhead.

The RGB did not yield any colour but there is a stumpy tail which should improve dramatically. The image was difficult to stack as there was a breeze and it was quite faint.

First image is LRGB and second is luminance - for luminance I used no filter.
Mintron does 2.56sec subs - LRGB about 300 subs for each.

Thanks, John.
