Lagoon again

Yes sorry anther Lagoon .
Took this while trying to fine tune guiding and focusmax as well as all the other little things that pop up to annoy you when setting up a permanent
arrangement. Will also get the camera tilt sorted soon , I have already removed the culprit for now.
Taken from backyard in the suburbs with just light pollution filter and about
6x10min . 15min subs seem to be the optimal so now guiding seems ok I will
start using that instead. Processing is the next hurdle so room for improvement there.
No flats or darks yet I will get around to that for next time.

That's nice!

Looks sharp and excellent detail, sure looks like your setup is working well.

Cheers,

G'day Mark, mate thats a great image. I'd be very happy with that outcome when trying to image seriously, so you must be chuffed since you were setting up and ironing out problems as well.

No need to apologise! It is to be expected that a great object gets imaged.

Would be interested to see how some darks and bias frames affect the image.

Hi Mark,

What a great closeup photo.

Nice detail and colour and very sharp.

You are really getting the most from our polluted skies.

You've got the observatory running well.

Ross.
