Venus Transit at Sunrise from Leipzig

I had to make a late six hour train trip from Stuttgart to Leipzig to find some (possibly) clear sky and hired a *big* lens on the way. Walking the streets of Leipzig at 4am with 25kg of gear on my back was an experience :-).

Great to see all the other shots here too.. loving the high res views.

Hope your keeping all of these stories for a book! thats a great adventure backed up with a couple of lovely shots, they have a very different look than most posted. the horizon certainly adds a sense of scale and drama!
