sample transit images

Hi all, I grabbed a lot of images of the transit from here in Broome, the transit was already in progress at sunrise so I missed the first 45 minutes or so.

Here's a small sample of images, I was using a kendrick white light filter + a 807nm IR filter. The seeing was quite good for the later images.

cheers, Bird

Very nice views Anthony. I notice in some of your image what I saw today that Venus at times shows some flat spots on its disk. Any idea what causes this? Thanks.

No idea Lester - I'm a total noob at this sort of imaging, maybe someone else will know the answer?

Awesome resolution, it looks great. Do you have enough images for an animation?

I really like this series Bird. Nice that the sun threw in a few sunspots for everyone too.

Cheers
