Final Blue Mountains photos

Hi all.

I never got a chance to finish selecting and processing my photos from the blue mountains. I've got a 3-photo frame on the wall that needs filling, so I decided to go through them today and find some for printing.

Some had to be saved as 30-40% jpeg quality to get under 100k, so i'm sure they suffered a bit. Usual post-processing sharpen routine.. some had increased saturation and lightening in the shadows.

All taken over xmas holidays 2005, with the 350D and stock 18-55mm lens. The waterfall shots had ND filters to allow for the longer exposure without overexposing.

Comments welcome!

Superb images Mike and I like how you've made the border around them too.
Very nicely presented.
The 4th one alone the top line is beautiful: "Golden Sisters"

Well done

Thanks guys..

I've chosen 3 shots of the 3 sisters to put on the wall.. one from morning, one from the middle of the day, and one just before sunset. I wish they were all taken at the same location and the same angle at the same focal length, but I didn't think about it at the time

I've chosen #1 as the sunrise, #4 as the sunset, and the one below as the middle of the day shot.

I still like #5 as the sunset shot Mike, it is in keeping with the longer focal length of the other 2 shots.

Just my preference!

Very nice indeed Mike, my favourites are the first sunset shot and the first of the waterfall shots.

Great shots Mike. Number 4 is my pick of the lot, it has great lighting and contrast.
