SCP time lapse

This is the time lapse I was capturing when that fire ball stole the show.
My apologies for the compression artefacts. I'll repost the link if I can get a higher res version happening. In the meantime, just DON'T go full screen. LOL

Well look who's joined the time lapse crowd? Was this shot RAW or JPEG?

Nice job. I plan on doing a few myself soon so we can trade tips.

I think time lapses look best with a bit fast moving cloud. It creates more interest. I think its ok if the camera is still but something moving around helps like Alex's ships out at sea and cloud coming in off the sea or Parkes telescope moving around.

It could be a good thing to do if its too cloudy for regular imaging.

They're great fun to make aren't they.
I shoot in lge jpeg because of compatibility issues with Canon 550D raw files and every graphics program I have on my computer.
