Mars 20th Mar and Jupiter *ahem* 19th Mar from rainy Brisbane

The rainy weather continues in Brisbane, but not enough to stop some opportunistic shooting. Jupiter was caught extremely low on the horizon (and quite flattened) whilst Mars presented itself between rain clouds with isolated moments of average seeing.

nice Mars Tom. And surely one of the very last Jupiters for the apparition - quite an effort to get something that good considering the amount of intervening soup. regards Ray

Thanks Ray and Trevor. The NEB on Jupiter has been thinning and is still noticeable in gross detail on this image. Here is the raw stacked Mars and Jupiter images, without RGB align. Also a split of the jpg RGBchannels of the processed image of Jupiter.
