Hi all ,a friend of mine who is an amateur astronomer but is not on the internet, has ordered a Vixon model 2609 ED 103 SWT,OTA would like any thoughts or opinions, good or bad on this telescope.

Well, your friend bought it already so there is little point discussing the pros and cons of his decision. I take it that it's a 4" apo, and that it is pretty much as good as a 4" scope gets.
There's a review of the scope on Astromart. Reviewer seems pretty happy. Vixens are not up there with the likes of Takahashi et al ... but good scopes none the less.
