Large Prominence

This prominence has been around for a few days now and although not as bright as others is worth a look if you have a dedicated Solar Scope

Nice Dereck. Heaps of detail; this prom changed to eruptive today and it let go one side. Working on a mosaic, so I should have that up in the next 24 hours. Whilst this was touted as being the biggest of this apparition I think the one on the 13th of October was pretty close to the same size. Fantastic to see all the same.
