NexStar GOTO mount for $250!!!!
Just the mounting, Nexstar controller, tripod, battery case. NO optical tube. Will carry ED80 etc. $250 plus postage. Hard copy of manual available.

Hi Merlin can it be programmed to go to a list of positions and stay at each one for a set time?

Not to my knowlege. It has a "tour" guide which covers the visible objects at the time.

Hi again Merlin. Can you put a list of positions in and then go to each one by pressing a button? What I want to do is mount it on an EQ mount with a camera with a wide field lens and then take a set of overlapping pictures without manually moving the EQ mount.

Honestly, I don't think it could give you that outcome. It needs to be star aligned independently of your EQ mount. It's a basic GOTO in Alt-Az. Has a built in list I think of a couple of thousand objects messier, ngc planets etc.and can be programmed for some custom objects.
