Cool Moonlite CR2

Hey Guys
those with the "Moonlite CR2 focuser (motorised!) "
seems to be ideal for the ED80

whats yours on ?
How does it perform?
can it go remote?

lots of ?? just finished my weaties

Hi Robert.

Mine is on a 10" GSO Newt, and I love it. I didn't buy the motorised one, I bought the normal CR2 with 8:1 fine focus knob. I motorised it DIY style, with thanks to RAJAH235 making a motor for me.

If the reason for putting a moonlight on the ed80 is that the standard crayford isnt holding the weight of your imaging camera, there is a focuser mod which will fix this and maybe save you some moolah
