SOLD: Televue Panoramic mount

Televue ash Panoramic ALT-AZ mount with 4096 count encoders (wired for ArgoNavis).

Perfectly suited for a 80-90mm scope as a quick "grab and go" mount, though it will just handle a 100mm scope (I use it with a TV101).

Mount Specs here: http://www.televue.com/engine/page.asp?ID=31

Original prices:

Mount ~$600 US +PP and GST (import tax)
Encoders ~$310 AUS +PP

Asking $400 AUS + Shipping for both.

I don't really want to sell it, as it is so quick to set up, but I want a GM8 more, so it has to go as a financial sacrifice.

Just kidding. I'm very happy with the quick sale. As happy as I hope Brian will be with his new mount.

You guys talking about me?

What can I say, I know a bargain when I see one (hell, the encoders are almost worth the asking price, so the mount is as good as thrown in for free). And living in Hobart, it's not often that the opportunity arises for me to check something out first hand. I just had to pounce. It was quite nice to see some of Vermin's other toys, too (I hope you managed to get the drool out of the carpet).

Seriously, Geoff, you missed out. The mount is in excellent condition. Smooth as silk. But look on the bright side: I'll probably be selling my Helix Hercules mount pretty soon.

Just need to get an Argo Navis now...

Cheers,

Brian.

Nah Brian, I agonised over the decision hours before you posted in here.
Your a lucky boy that I made a decision to not spend on an ed80 that Im going to sell.
