MEADE 10" Mirror.

Hi,
I have for sale my MEADE 10" f/4.5 "PYREX" mirror & matching 3.7" ? (Long axis) 2ndary on the 4 vane spider.
There's also the 8 x 50 straight-through (12 Volt-red LED-internally illuminated) finder scope & 2 x brackets. (6 point adjusters.)
A MEADE Magellan #1 digital setting circles set......minus the (water damaged) centre base encoder.
The original rack & pinion focuser was retrieved as well.
These were in/on my dob which had a slight dunking during the recent March storm/flood & ruined the mirror cell (Chip board) & slightly water marked the Sonotube.
All are in first class condition (well, most of it), with no flaws or damage at all.
Tube needs a clean & a coat of "water-proof" paint.

Not sure of any recent replacement "PYREX" mirror prices but I should think that a value of ~$450.00 for the lot will do.

Thanks.

Regs, Laurie..

[edited to reduce the price, again.]

Make a/n (reasonably sane), offer.
They have to go, as I do not have the space to store them or have any further use for them.

Meade Mirrors

Here's some pics of the pair...

Just a bit of dust on them from storage & my mates new camera.

NB: The focuser has been re-packed/shimmed with teflon to reduce the free-play & is almost free from any.
Worked really well with my home built electric focuser. (As shown in "Show us your equipment".....2 nd page, #36 +++.)
The lot has to go, otherwise, it's getting junked.

Original cost was well over $1,500.00.

The Orion finder & the mounting brackets have been sold.
Ta.
Anyone else interested?

Otherwise, I'll donate it to my club.
