Seriously though, that was an interesting article. I mean, what would NASA do if they had carte blanche and could just write cheques as they saw fit. Or, one of the big research institutes working on some of these new spacecraft propulsion technologies....whatever. So long as other very important things like health, education, social policy, the environment etc were also taken care of properly, if the universities and agencies like NASA had access to the huge amount of funding that they (governments) spend on killing one another and acting all big and tough around the world, the possibilities would be endless.
