What's with the Brissy weather tonight?

I know, I know - another weather whinge thread....
Its just that I can't remember the last time there was HIGH cloud drift across from the north. Not in the last few years I've been doing astrophotography at least. I can understand a Tasman low tossing SE moisture at us, but I had hoped tonight would clear up fairly quick after sunset

Well yes, that certainly trumps high cloud David.
Just noticed its pouring out in Moreton Bay now. Thought I'd leave the gear set up out back from last night, but looks like time to pull it down. Sigh.

Where have you been all week Rob. After 5 clear nights in a row, it had to cloud over tonight.
