I just did a quick calculation and a one second exposure on this monster would be the equivalent of one minute on a typical 200mm F10! Who needs tracking?
I also would suggest somewhere there is somebody planning/building a bigger one. It is not a cure it only encourages ....

That is just insane!

Can be set up and packed up by one person! Yeah right. The rocker box is 300kg.

You would would need at least 180x magnification before you would get to use the full aperture visually (to get <= 6mm exit pupil). Galaxies would be awesome in this beast.

BTW it's 32" aperture.

I think at such sizes instead of having a ladder you implement full motorised drives and a seat suspended from the UTA

When not observing it could double as a ride for the kids

Other tricks to try, point it at the moon and hold a piece of paper to the focuser and watch it ignite

You could always drive it to the circus at night and park it next to the ferris wheel and adjust it to the right height.

WOW, its a FREAK But seriously if that was my scope I would have it set up perminantly in an observatory. Lugging that baby around must be a royal pain.

I have a hard enough time setting up my 8" Dob in the back yard half the time!... He just uses the scope to pull chicks anyway.....
