13th Conjunction From The West

Crikey there have been many fantastic shots of the conjunction. There are some really nice ones from Mt Coot-tha and also the ones looking over Newcastle from Houghy. Well done to those who snapped some beauties!

Anyway here is yet another set of photos. I also decided to hang around for sunrise and then I thought wouldn't it be great to cap a great day with a sunset at the beach just a few meters away on the other side of the road looking out to the Indian Ocean.

All taken from Bunbury WA with my 40D. The morning was quite windy but sunset was still as.

Thanks for looking!

Cheers,
Darrin...

Got some nice shots there Darrin, Bunbury is a nice place, just came from there today.

Although the red sunset may have something to do with the CALM burning off. Been smoked to death so much this week.

I agree. It's one of the reasons I tried for a sunset photo. 12th was very bad with the sun so filtered by the smoke you could look at directly even 2hrs before sunset. Many people out taking photos on the 12th. Quite horrible actually the pollution and being so dry over here, the fires are still smoldering for over a week now up here in Collie.

Cheers,
Darrin...
