Thought I'd join in as well, Ive been along time lurker as well.
This was part of a series of many shots of the planet's over Brisbane, it was my first attempt at this sort of photography with a new cannon 550 dslr taken from Mt Cootha on a cheap and nasty tripod that doesn't sit level.
