A nice job of processing Louie but a 32 inch RC is not the best tool for a star cluster.
In my opinion these look best when done with a nice refractor. They're not really "close up" candidates. I noticed that when I first started using a 12.5 RC that globs and open clusters didn't really come up that well and look a bit bloated.
Thanks for the feedback and your opinions Mike and Greg....I actually feel that because this cluster is almost globular like It sits well and some nice colors on display.

Yes I suppose so. I have seen some that were good. Daniel Verschase had a fabulous processing regime going with globs and a 14.5 RCOS.
He seemed to accentuate the wonderful golden stars that are often in the globs.
I have seen that effect occassionally doing processing but I'd have to work at it to discover it again. I think it was his use of selective colours tool that got that effect. His globs are the best on the net.
