Satellite Coincidence

G'day guys,

Last night (6/2/06) at around 9:20-30pm I happened to see 2 satellites appear within 2 minutes of each other in the sky. They were probably at around mag. 3 I spose, but I was just wondering if anyone in Sydney at the time saw it too. I've never seen 2 satellites appear in the night sky within 2 or so minutes of the first one appearing.

Cheers

Hi, old skool. & to IIS. This type of sighting occurs quite a bit. You just have to know where to look & at the correct times.
See link to heavens-above for all the relevant info you might require re; your sighting..

Yeah, I have been a member of heavens above for about 3 years or so, its just I thought it was a coincidence of 2 satellites appearing within 3 minutes of each other.
