Spectra-L200 set-up

Just some images of the "master sample" Spectra-L200 spectroscope mounted via a Vixen beamsplitter on the C9.25/ NEQ6pro.
The ST80/ QHY5 guide is for some illustrations for the Y! group ( to show the PHD/ Al's reticle arrangement for aquiring a target star onto the slit and guiding.) Usually the QHY5 sits on the Vixen.

Putting it all together

One of the Spectra-L200 users has posted a nice set of images taken during the assembly of his spectroscope. Father and daughter team.
They may be of interest to others...

Pumping up the resolution!

I'm in the middle of testing a Spectra-L200 fitted with a 1800 l/mm, blazed 50mm x 25mm grating.
This has a capability of R=10000 in an f10 beam.
Looking good so far!
