Foods you hate
Perpetual nuclear winter is with us again, so lets discuss your most hated foodstuffs.
Mushrooms. I simply can't stand that garbage.
Also hate basically all vegetables....the only veg I'll eat is onions, capsicum, potatos (fries, roast or mash) and tomatoes.
Brocolli, Cauliflower, pumpkin, asparagus etc... all evil and must die! My parents are always nagging me to eat healthier, but bugger that I'll eat whatever taste good!
Also hate every cheese except tasty cheese and chedder.

not to mention tasting worse than fungus The texture as you bite into a cooked mushroom leaves no words in the english language to describe the tremendous disgustingness.

1) Tomatoes are fruit
2) Pumpkins are fruit
3) Capsicum are fruit
4) Potatoes are technically tubers (arguably vegetable)
Suggest you try some American style pumpkin pie, it's heavily spiced, delicious and sweet (it's a dessert)... good way to introduce yourself to pumpkin, kids all over the US love it, even the pumpkin haters...
As for cheese, if you like Cheddar, suggest you try Colby. If you don't like sharp Cheddar, suggest you try Gouda (pronouced "Howda") or Edam.
I've always wondered if you eat a tomato, does it count as a fruit or veg, as most dietitians still make the mistake of calling it a vegetable...
OIC!

Almost nothing on my 'won't eat' list except tripe and brains.
I was pretty neutral about veggies until I started growing my own. They some how taste better than the shop bought kind.
Almost anything can be made edible by the right chef - except tripe and brains.

My mother was a chef, my wife is a chef and I am a food services manager. I have yet to taste a food ingredient that I don't like.
My dislike is fast food, flavourless mush that does nothing for you nutritionally.

Yum Yum Mushrooms!
But I absolutely hate:
Cabbage
Choko
Marrow
Tripe
Pumpkin
Sheeps eyes
Brains
Asparagus
Lentils
Sauerkraut
Pigs Trotters
Smelly Cheeses
Brussell Sprouts
Leek
Celery
and probably a few more I have forgotten.
But there are a lot of Vegies I love, and prefer to eat raw

I am very lucky I'll eat anything except brussell sprouts and eggs. Sprouts taste like mouldy cabbage and egg gives me chronic stomach pain. I like them, they just don't like me.
There is a few mushroom haters, put them on pizza, truly divine.

I love almost all veggies, the only exception is pumpkin (I don't hate it but wouldn't buy or cook it myself). Most mushrooms are delicious, and there is a huge variety, though not necessarily available in Australia. All green vegetables are favourites of mine.
I especially like naturally fermented foods, like cheese, wine, sauerkraut, sourdough bread, continental style butter, buttermilk etc.
The few things I can't get myself to eat are kidneys, lungs and tripe. I also hate white bread, especially the spongy hamburger buns. Another thing I don't particularly care for is overly smelly seafood.
I'm no great fan of sweets and cake.
Cheers
Steffen.

Offal, black pudding, Spam and corned beef. Just the thought of them makes me feel ill.
I love mushies and luckily so do my boys, so now my husband (who says mushrooms make him want to vomit) is out numbered and has to put up with them.

Yep the usual stuff offered here, lambs fry, black pudding, tongue, brains, livers, kidneys etc. I like veggies and most other stuff, although I'm not a big Garlic fan, but like the flavor in some dishes.
My tastes have Changed over the years and I now eat a lot that I didn't as a teen, including the aforementioned pumpkin, which I've grown to like, particularly baked.

Tripe, brains, offal, kidneys, liver, lungs etc is about it. I'll eat almost any veggie, spice, major meat cut. Love Asian, Italian, Greek, French, Moroccan, you name it, I'll try it.
Hate fast foods, Maccas, etc. Heated styrofoam food.
Tomatoes are berries btw. Weird eh ?
What would a proper Italian Pizza be without mushrooms .. I do them on a stone in the BBQ ..
