For sale is the Optex 20x80 Giant Binoculars (model OP2080) that my son won at IISAC2007 in the lucky door prize.
At the time, they were retailing for AU$795.
I've tried to see how much these might be worth now, and there are other 20x80's around for cheaper, but they don't have the tripod mount and don't have the heavy duty carry case, and some are of questionable quality.
Trying to hand-hold these 20x80's is very difficult, even for a strong man - so the tripod mount is a must.
They come with front and eye caps, neck strap, cleaning cloth, tripod mount, and key-lockable heavy duty carry case.
They're a great set of binoculars in near-perfect condition, only having been used less than 5 times - and they've never even left the house, never had dew on them, etc.
Selling because Jacob just doesn't use them and wants to fund another iPod as his previous one was stolen last week
Asking $400 ono.
