tracking problem Synscan

Have EQ6 with snscan. Trying to do drift alignment but star just keeps travelling fast along reticle lines before i can do a drift test.
Bintel suggest a factory reset. How do i do that (no instructions in manual) or have i not pressed a button on the hand controller?

help please

Its on the handset Carl .... havent used mine for awhile, and dont really wanna drag it out for a look .... but if you go through the handset functions ... think its in utility ' restore factory settings'.
Be sure your firmware is uptodate too.

It's in one of the submenus on the Handset Carl.
Someone will know - I'm at work!

Carl, not sure how much you've used your Eq6 but it may be that you haven't set the handbox correctly in the first place. You need to set the tracking rate to sidereal, if you intend to use goto you'll also need to set the clock and Time zone and Lat/Long.

You can download a Synscan manual here note that you'll need to get the V3.0 manual then the updated addon PDF's for 3.xx
