Legal opinion Wanted

Would strangling someone who came to your home wheezing and sneezing, infecting you with the worst case of flu you have ever had, be classed as Justifiable Homicide.

He came back today, stayed outside the gate, pity. But, I'm too weak weild the 2x4 anyway.
If Kym and Jaqui get it, he'd be better leaving town. Long memories these women.
At least I still got a sense of humour, helps to make up for the sense of smell and taste.

I think strangling would compromise your defense, since you would have to get close enough to become infected. Better off to shoot them, I think.

Stranglng could give you arthritis, why damage those precious focusing mechanisms.
Try - got hit be a metoerite
fell into a blackhole
discovered timetravel & went to live in the year 2080.
abducted by aliens

these are all plausible explanations to be put forward to the authorities

Forgot one - (my favourite) you vaporised him with your laser pointer, which you accidentally put on while checking the collimation on your scope

I suggest selling the offending entity for medical experiments and investing the money in good quality astro equipment.

Flu is short for influenza so you could always claim "In flew this guy who I never heard of called Enza barged in without an invitation rummaged through my home leaving germs everywere so for the protection of the public I performed my civil duty and shot him", plausible defence.
