First Moon Image

Hi,
A friend lent me his Neximage camera and here is my very first moon pic with my Meade LS6, I took a small 275 frame AVI on 25 Sept. and processed in registax (still messing with that but slowly figuring it out) then Paint Shop.

I was imperssed with this camera, but I decided to take a gamble and got an Imaging Source DBK 21, and wouldn't you know cloudy skies since.

Can't wait to see how it goes.

Thanks guys,
Just realised I should have posted this on the beginners section as this is my very first astoimage ever.
It took about 25 runs in registax taking note of exactly what I did each time before I got to this, most was just guessing what to do as I don't understand most of the terminology.. but happy with the end result.

Good start Des!
The DMK's are very good - you will enjoy it!
Registax is a good programme and after a few more runs you will be an expert!

Thats a nice first effort Des, the DMK is a great camera that comes with excellent software, look forward to seeing first light with your DMK.

That's awesome for your first image of the Moon Des!

I wish I had a DMK. Hope you get to use it soon.
